And Aaron and Alex had Jasmine rice, peas and basa fillets for dinner:
I don't eat fish or seafood so cooking it is slightly challenging for me. I'm always open to suggestions of tried and true recipes to change things up a bit but my standby is always this version. Slice an orange and arrange in two lines in a casserole dish, lay the basa fillet on top put in a bit of water and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at 350.

oh remind me, I have an easy fish dish that is quite different. It's somthing like
=> white fish filets on aluminium foil
pour a mixture of honey, soy sauce, olives, some drips of tabasco if you care for a spicy touch, ...
then you wrap it all together gently and put it in the oven.
very easy to do and yet a very distinct special taste.
Lesley,
We have a few things we do with fish.
1. Bake it with some mild or medium salsa on top.
2. Brush the filets with Kraft Three Cheese Ranch dressing and then sprinkle with crumbled Cheese Nips or Gold Fish crackers
3. Cut fillets in half lengthwise and bread with your favourite flavour of Shake 'n Bake coating mix.
4. Buy "Fish Crisp" corn meal based coating mix in the camping section of Walmart or Canadian tire. Coat the filets but then pan fry in a non-stick fry pan.
Hope that gives you a few more ideas. I'm not big on fish either so we just kept trying one idea after another from friends, family and co-workers until we found some that we liked. Oh, and our favourite fish is Tilapia. It has a firm texture and very mild flavour.
