Day 5 at Chateau Beck

Tonight was a last minute kind of dinner. Buffalo Chicken Bites, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Sweet Potato Fries, Pickles, Pickled Beets and an assortment of cheese.

Not the healthiest meal I admit but no one was especially hungry or had any brilliant dinner ideas so I just looked for whatever pub style food I could find in the freezer.

Jenn's comment about her expensive dinner really stuck in my head and I'm going to try and make an effort to plan meals better so maybe we can cut down on the grocery bills a bit. Tonights dinner was probably about $30 and wasn't really healthy at all, for the same money I could have bought a nice roast and all the fixings for 10 people...if I shopped at Costco that is, lol.

I do like to have a pub food night every once in a while too! It is interesting though to think about how much your meal is costing. If I do a meal for under 5 dollars, that's amazing! Most of those meals come from my Oma and Opa who lived through the war. Most are like you said around 10$ and usually the food is delicious.
